Preview: ?Natura Morta? in Glens Falls

Listen to this story
Todd Moe talks with Hyde Collection Chief Curator Erin Coe about the new exhibit, Natura Morta, still-life painting and the Medici Collections. It's on display in the museum's Wood Gallery through mid-January. Coe says the opportunity to view art that once belonged to the distinguished Medici family is an extraordinary event. She says the Medici dynasty, which dominated politics and cultural life in Florence, Italy from the 15th to the mid-18th centuries, is still known today for its artistic patronage and collecting.
