NCCC president retiring

Listen to this story
The president of North Country Community College, based in Saranac Lake, is stepping down. Gail Rogers Rice announced her retirement yesterday and says she'll leave July 1st. The move follows a controversial year, as Rice pushed to build a major new campus in Lake Placid. That plan was rejected. As Chris Knight reports, Rice also led the college to an expansion of its programs and its facilities in Malone and Ticonderoga during her 15 year tenure.
