Dec 19, 2007 — A state commission released a study this week recommending sweeping changes and more financial support for SUNY schools. School officials for the most part welcome the study's findings. Dr. John Ettling is president of SUNY Plattsburgh. He likes the commission's recommendation to refurbish the aging infrastructure of all state universities. He tells Jonathan Brown this could reinvigorate the SUNY system.
