Jan 04, 2008 — The North Country has had its share of snow this winter, and now we've weathered our first serious dose of cold. The unofficial low temperature this week was in Vermontville, where a caller reported minus 33 degrees Fahrenheit. The official low was in Saranac Lake, which chimed in at a frosty minus seventeen.
