Jan 11, 2008 — Governor Eliot Spitzer made scant reference to agriculture in his State of the State message Wednesday. He says he's saving farm issues for his State of Upstate speech next week. But he tipped his hand yesterday, with a surprise visit to New York's annual agricultural conference in Syracuse. David Sommerstein was there and has this report.
