Cape Air vs Boston-Maine Airways
Jan 15, 2008 — Two new commuter airlines have applied to fly the North Country's federally subsidized routes abandoned last week by Big Sky Airlines. Massachusetts-based Cape Air wants to fly non-stop from Plattsburgh and Saranac Lake to Boston. A separate company, New Hampshire-based Pan Am Airways, hopes to fly from Massena to Ogdensburg to Watertown and on to Albany. As Jonathan Brown reports, both companies appear to have strengths and weaknesses.
