Debate continues over closing Lake Clear?s elementary school

A consultant hired by the Saranac Lake School Board outlined options for possible downsizing of the Saranac Lake School District at a school board meeting last night. Management Advisory Group is recommending the district close Lake Clear Elementary School due to declining enrollment. About 40 Lake Clear parents and other district residents showed up at last night's meeting, most objecting to the closing of their neighborhood school. As Chris Knight reports, school board members appear to be split on the issue.
