Feb 28, 2008 — The winner of a special election in the 48th Senate district in Northern New York hurried to Albany Wednesday to be sworn in to office. After Tuesday's victory, Democrats are just one seat away from taking over the majority from the Republicans. Karen DeWitt reports.
