Adirondacks motorized recreation debate focuses on float planes and Lows Lake
Aug 08, 2008 — State officials have revived a controversial debate over the use of float planes on a remote Adirondack lake. The Department of Environmental Conservation says pilots carrying tourists and fishermen should have access to Lows Lake for another ten years. But many paddlers have complained about the flights and a coalition of green groups says the new plan violates state law. Brian Mann has details.
