Oct 22, 2008 — A Johnsburg man is doing his part to preserve historic sites and stories in the southeastern corner of the Adirondacks. Glenn Pearsall has lived in the North Country since the early 60's and has always had an interest in local history. His book, Echoes in These Mountains, explores dozens of historic sites in Johnsburg. Pearsall has included GPS coordinates for each site profiled in the book as a way of connecting the past to the present and future. He spoke with Todd Moe.
