Communities across the state celebrated Independence Day Thursday. But another turning point in history, the Battle of Ticonderoga Falls, occurred 244 years ago this week during the French and Indian War. Todd Moe visited Fort Ticonderoga last summer as hundreds of military re-enactors gathered at the historic fort for its Grand Encampment.
