Nov 18, 2008 — Todd Moe talks with writer Jay O'Hern about his new biography of A.L. Byron-Curtiss, called Under an Adirondack Influence. Byron-Curtiss was an Episcopal minister who lived in the southern Adirondacks during the first half the 20th century. He kept a detailed journal of his professional and outdoor adventures, and wrote about nature, history, philosophy, folklore and conservation. O'Hern says his interest in Byron-Curtiss' life began while renting his camp on North Lake.
