North Country union members rally in Albany
Jan 08, 2009 — Dozens of public employees left Canton in a snowstorm yesterday morning to join a union rally in Albany against the Governor's proposed budget. They're hoping to stop layoffs and other cuts proposed in Gov. Paterson's budget. Jonathan Brown talked with Toni Oakes as rain in Albany was turning to freezing rain. She's president of Civil Service Employees Association Local 613 at SUNY Potsdam.
