To the inauguration - from Kenya to the Capitol
Jan 14, 2009 — Hundreds of people in the region are doing their best to be at the Obama Inauguration next week.
The trip will close a circle of sorts for Drew Pynchon. Drew is a recent Canton High School graduate, now at Dickinson College in Carlisle Pennsylvania. He's just back from a semester in Kenya, through a study program at St. Lawrence University. He worked for the Obama campaign during the New Hampshire primary, but shared the Kenyan perspective -- from distant Nairobi -- for the presidential race. He spoke with Martha Foley.
