Jan 20, 2009 — Karen Kelly grew up in Ogdensburg. She's been a freelance journalist in Ottawa for years. Today she's making her way into Washington for the inauguration as well. She told Martha Foley this morning that she flew down from Canada's capital last night. (update at 10 a.m.: she was in a good spot on the Mall, getting there was pretty easy, and security didn't seem very tight...nobody checked their backpacks, so they wished they'd brought thermoses!)
