Feb 13, 2009 — February is Winter Carnival month in the Adirondacks, with events from Old Forge to Saranac Lake to Lake George. Brian Mann checked in with Linda Duffy, the volunteer organizer of Lake George's carnival events, which continue this weekend. Linda told Brian Mann that fireworks and polar bear swims give a huge boost to local businesses.
