Books: "Skeletons at the Feast"
Mar 25, 2009 — Book clubs and reading groups around the region have been discussing Chris Bohjalian's Skeletons at the Feast -- this year's North Country Reads selection. It was inspired by an actual diary from World War Two. Bohjalian's 12th novel, the book is a love story that takes readers to the last six months of the war as German refugees flee the advancing Russian army. Bohjalian lives in Vermont where he also writes a weekly column for the Burlington Free Press. He spoke with Todd Moe about his writing style and finding his literary voice in Vermont. Chris Bohjalian will be the guest on "Readers and Writers on the Air" at Jefferson Community College in Watertown, Thurs. April 2nd at 7 pm.
