Our guest is Richard Rubin, author of Confederacy of Silence: A True Tale of the New Old South A brilliant page-turner about contemporary Mississippi, and about a journalist whose own conscience is tested by the historic forces still at work there. Rubin is a visiting professor at St. Lawrence University and part of the SLU Writers Series.
