Small mouth bass season opens in the North Country tomorrow, and there are a couple of fishing derbies in Jefferson County this weekend. Pillar Point and Henderson Harbor host bass and walleye tournaments. When he’s not busy beach combing along the eastern shore of Lake Ontario, artist Tom Bintz, aka Captain Honk, loves to fish. He gave Todd Moe his forecast for the season opener.
