Filling in the blanks of a wild, unsettled country
Jul 15, 2009 — A new exhibit this summer at the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake traces the first efforts to map and survey the Adirondack Mountains. "A Wild, Unsettled Country" uses maps, prints and paintings to capture a sense of the first European exploration of the region. Brian Mann spoke with curator Laura Rice.
