Profile of Families Along Nassau Lake: One of the State's Superfund Sites

The New York State legislature adjourned for the summer without reaching an agreement with Governor Pataki on how to refinance the bankrupt state superfund. According to a study done by the Public Interest research Group, one in four New Yorkers lives near a polluted waste site. Some of these people live along Nassau Lake, in a rural area of Rensselaer County. Reporter Karen Dewitt visited there recently.
