Antwerp, NY, Sep 23, 2009 — A number of restaurants and cafeterias in schools and hospitals are teaming up with local growers with a simple goal: serving locally grown food. These chefs are turning to neighboring farms to get local ingredients, and they're learning to cook with the seasons. The Northern Adirondack Trading Cooperative is sponsoring a "Farm to Chef" tasting event on Monday at Beartown Farms in Antwerp. Todd Moe spoke with a farmer and a chef taking part.
