Oct 07, 2009 — North Country musician Dan Duggan has battled head and neck cancer for about a year, and recently got good news from his doctors. After 10 months, 3 surgeries, 35 radiation treatments and several chemo-therapy treatments, he is cancer-free. Dan is a member of the Susquehanna String Band and the trio Jamcrackers. He and his wife, Peggy Lynn, and friend Dan Berggren will host an evening of music Thursday night at BluSeed Studios in Saranac Lake (7:30). He told Todd Moe there is reason to celebrate.
