Eat 'n Meet, 139 Broadway, Saranac Lake
An Adirondack eatery gets high marks in the October issue of National Geographic Adventure magazine. "Eat 'n Meet Grill and Larder" was mentioned as the "classiest, quirkiest, take-out joint you'll ever visit." Chef/proprietor John Vargo told Todd Moe that he and his family moved to Saranac Lake and opened their cafe in 2006, after working in the restaurant business in New Paltz for ten years. He calls "Eat 'n Meet" a "concept" restaurant.
