Jim Kraus has been an avid photographer most of his life. He taught forest recreation at Paul Smiths College for 30 years, and always packed a camera for outdoor treks. About twenty years ago, he began to seriously consider creating a book of his favorite Adirondack photos. The result, Adirondack Moments, was published by Firefly Books this fall. It includes wildlife, mountain views, lake vistas and the seasons. Todd Moe spoke with Jim Kraus about his connection the Adirondacks.
