Governor warns of dire consequences if lawmakers refuse to cut spending

Governor Paterson says the state's money problems are so dire that layoffs, furloughs and curtailing pre-Kindergarten programs may be necessary. He says the most draconian cuts can be averted, if lawmakers in Albany agree to close the state's budget gap. Karen DeWitt reports.
