Song by Adirondack musicians goes prime time

A song written and performed by Adirondack musicians will reach a very big audience tonight. The song, "In Knowing" by the band Swimming in Speakers will be featured on tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy. The medical drama on ABC had more than 12 million viewers last week.

Guitarist and songwriter Chris Clarke, of Saranac Lake, says this is a dream come true for him and band mate Meadow Eliz, who lives in Rainbow Lake.

Portions of the song were originally recorded here, in North Country Public Radio's music studio. Clarke came back to the station yesterday and told Jonathan Brown how the song came together.
