Potsdam, NY, Apr 26, 2010 — SUNY-Potsdam senior Nathan LaRowe was recently named an NCAA diving champion. LaRowe took the Division Three honors and was named Diver of the Year. He's the first ever from SUNY Potsdam to win a men's diving championship, and is ranked first among 225 schools competing in the division. LaRowe and his coach, Ray Toland, will offer a seminar tonight (7:30) on the art and science of diving at SUNY-Potsdam's Maxcy Pool. Todd Moe talked with them about how the sport combines gymnastics, grace and physics.
