Potsdam, NY, May 18, 2010 — A group of local musicians wants to reconvene the Potsdam Community Band after its 25 year hiatus. Musicians are invited to an information meeting Wednesday night (7 pm) in the Potsdam Civic Center Community Room. Band director Theresa Witmer told Todd Moe that the band is open to all adults who play traditional wind band instruments. She says Wednesday's meeting will offer more information about the summer season.
