Alexandria Bay, NY, May 31, 2010 — New York lawmakers finally agreed on Friday that all state parks would be opened for this holiday weekend. Not much wiggle room for the parks on the state's closure list--in fact, none. Parks that had been on the list scrambled to get their facilities ready for holiday campers and picnickers. Sarah Harris went to Keewaydin State Park on the St. Lawrence River just outside of Alexandria Bay on Saturday. She spoke with visitors and staff.
