Preview: "River Magic" in Gananoque
Gananoque, ON, Jun 22, 2010 — Canadian storyteller and bard Deborah Dunleavy has spent the last few months as teller-in-residence at the Arthur Child Heritage Museum in Gananoque, Ontario. To celebrate, she'll host a final evening of stories and songs this Friday night at the museum. It's a program of tales and music with the St. Lawrence River as a theme. Dunleavy is co-founder of the Thousand Islands Yarnspinners. She visited NCPR last fall to share a story and her thoughts about the art of telling tales.
