The Hospice Path: Fighting "compassion fatigue"
Saranac Lake, NY, Oct 25, 2010 — The last few months, we've been airing a special new series called the Hospice Path.
We've been profiling one family, the Gallaghers in Saranac Lake, who are working with the hospice program as Bill Gallagher nears the end of his life.
Bill suffers from a degenerative lung condition and doctors say he has less than a year to live.
This morning, Brian Mann looks at the other side of the relationship, talking with the hospice workers who help people across the North Country at the end of their lives.
