Sep 03, 2002 — Seven people died and more than two thousand were made ill when e-coli bacteria contaminated Walkerton, Ontario's water supply more than two years ago. The contamination came from cattle manure that had leeched into the ground. Now, the government of Ontario has come out with its plans in an attempt to prevent another tragedy like Walkerton.
