Listen to this story
The Alexander String Quartet, artists in residence at St. Lawrence University, will give a public performance Thursday night at 7:30 in Gulick Theatre on campus. The group's residency at St. Lawrence has included visits to classes in a variety of departments, providing master classes for music students and a trip to the Adirondacks. Todd Moe talks with two members of the ensemble, violinists Zak Grafilo and Fred Lifsitz, about their recent tour of Germany and a personnel change.
