Only a few other counties in the state have unemployment rates of 11% or higher: Fulton County, a portion of which lies within the Adirondack park; and Bronx and Kings County in New York City.

Unemployment in Clinton County is also high at 10.4%. Most other counties in the region had unemployment numbers between 9 and 10%. Hamilton and Saratoga Counties, on the other hand, had some of the lowest unemployment rates in the state, around 7%.

Department of Labor points out those numbers aren’t seasonally adjusted, and are subject to change.
