People: Paul Deo, Neo Soul Artist, Visits SUNY-Potsdam

(11/21/02) Paul Deo, an accomplished Neo Soul Artist and filmmaker, is visiting SUNY Potsdam this week, conducting workshops, working with students to create a mural, and putting on an art show. Throughout this week he's working with the Caribbean and Latin American Student Society, as well as other art students, to create and install a mural in the Ethnic Lounge of Unity at SUNY Potsdam.
Deo says his artwork is a combination of his own reality and imagination. He told Todd Moe he grew up in New York City and now lives in New Orleans.
