Environmentalists Worry About Proposed Changes to Clean Air Act
Nov 25, 2002 — Friday afternoon, the Bush administration announced it would move to change key provisions of the Clean Air Act. The rules, known as New Source Review, were designed to force power plants to upgrade environmental equipment. Environmental groups, and some government leaders in the Northeastern U.S., worry that the change will mean more of the type of pollution that causes acid rain. Martha Foley talks with Brian Mann, who's been following this story.
