Small plane crashes in Adirondacks, no injuries
Lake Placid, NY, Feb 22, 2013 — A small plane crashed into Nye Mountain, one of the 46 Adirondack High Peaks, last night with three men on board, according to press accounts.
The crash happened south of Lake Placid. Essex County Emergency Services Director Donald Jaquish told the Plattsburgh Press Republican there were no injuries.

“Dispatch has been talking to the occupants on the phone, and they’re fine,” Jaquish told the newspaper.
State forest rangers helped the three three men who were aboard an RV-10 light aircraft.
According to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, the plane was headed for the airport in Lake Placid. However, the crash delayed flights at the Adirondack Regional Airport.
