NY Senate to Vote on Landmark Gay Rights Bill

The state Senate will take up a landmark gay rights bill when it meets in special session later this month. The promise of the chamber's consideration of the Sexual Orientation Non Discrimination Act (SONDA) won Governor Pataki a re-election endorsement from the state's leading gay rights organization.
