On 'Adirondack Day' Governor calls for new tourism push

Yesterday was Adirondack Day in the state capitol with groups from across the Park offering food, crafts and information about the North Country to people in Albany.

State Senator Betty Little described the event as a way to raise awareness about the Adirondacks, especially among lawmakers and legislative aides from downstate who've never made the journey up the Northway.

Governor Andrew Cuomo talked about the event with Susan Arbetter, host of the public radio program Capitol Pressroom.  

Cuomo says he also plans to hold a summit next week to help boost tourism statewide.
