Jan 07, 2003 — For the first time in New York's history, the state's highest court will have a majority of women on the seven-member panel. The court will also be dominated by appointees of Governor Pataki, now that Pataki has appointed Justice Susan Read to the New York Court of Appeals. Karen Dewitt reports.
