Sep 17, 2013 — MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) Officials with the Vermont chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union are planning to release a report about surveillance along the U.S.-Canadian border by the state and federal governments.
The report "Surveillance on the Northern Border" will describe what it says are some of the high-tech tools and sophisticated technologies being used in Vermont.
Federal authorities use a variety of electronic devices to monitor security along the U.S.-Canadian border.
