Proposition One would allow four more casinos in upstate New York.

The North Country leaders say it would bring more than $16 million dollars to the North Country’s coffers.

In a press release, they say it would also mean stable, long-term agreements with existing casinos, including the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino, that would protect jobs there and fund local governments.
