In a remarkable feat for the region, Cook is the third competitor from the North Country to make the US biathlon team.  She'll join Lowell Bailey from Lake Placid and Tim Burke from Paul Smiths, who were named to the Olympic roster last month.

Cook is 29-years-old and joined the biathlon team in four years ago.  In a statement she said that making the Olympic squad is "something I have dreamed of since I was a kid."
