SUNY-Potsdam raises the curtain on its new Performing Arts Center

Listen to this story
Dance and theater students at SUNY Potsdam will return to a new Performing Arts Center later this month. The $55-million facility is the first new academic building at SUNY Potsdam in decades. Construction on the building began in 2010 and it was officially unveiled to students and the community at a ribbon-cutting ceremony last month. It will house the Department of Theater and Dance and includes two theaters, a dance performance space and costume, scenery and lighting design labs.

Todd Moe took a tour as contractors completed interior work and faculty were still finding their way around its halls.
