New Cornwall bridge to open Friday

Travellers in and around Cornwall will finally get to use the new low-level bridge to Cornwall Island and the United States. The long-anticipated span is slated to open tomorrow morning at 7 am.

The new $75-million  bridge also comes with a new toll plaza and a temporary Canada Border Services plaza.

The 52-year-old high-level bridge will close at the same time and will be torn down within the next two years.
