Senior captain Chelsea VanGlahn told the Plattsburgh Press Republican "It's pretty awesome to be able to have these dreams."

She said, "You come in and obviously every little girl deep down wants to win a national championship. We made dreams into a reality."

It was the Cardinals third straight appearance in the final four. They finished the season with a 28-1-1 record and their first title since 2008.
