State police say 47-year-old Timothy Foley was arrested early Sunday morning after he fired on officers from inside his home in Leicester.

Investigators say two officers were wounded after responding to a 911 call from a neighbor who said her husband had been shot in the head.

The initial victim was hospitalized in stable condition. The two troopers were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say Foley is being held on $100,000 bail. He faces two counts of attempted aggravated murder related to the troopers and two counts of attempted murder stemming from the initial incident.
