Ebbing says the salon has been wanting to decorate their window front for the various holidays, and Memorial Day seemed a good time to start. "These are window crayons, so I'm just trying a new medium," Ebbing says.

Ebbing says she started to study for a degree in arts education. She's found the creative side of cutting and styling hair and nails just as creative. Hair "is like a canvas," Ebbing says. "You can create anything you want."
