Work begins on Syracuse's Inner Harbor

Syracuse officials have been looking for ways to turn the former Barge Canal terminal near Onondaga Lake's eastern shore into a recreational, commercial and residential attraction for more than 20 years. The Fayetteville-based COR Development Co. has been awarded the contract for the project, which includes a new hotel and apartment complex.
